Happy New Year!

I hope you enjoyed some down time during the holidays. I know I did! It’s hard to believe so many FABULOUS events actually happened in 2021 despite everything. December Highlights

I took off a whole week for Christmas with my family in Texas and I still had EIGHTEEN gigs in FIVE states in December! One of the perks of so much travel is that I just made Gold status on American Airlines. Woo-hoo! It’s the little things like Priority bag check lanes and boarding, better seats and even the chance of upgrading to First Class. (That actually happened once in December! Feeling so fancy!) Christmas with Family

All but one of my sisters made it into this photo! Living across the country from my family, it’s pretty special when we can all get together. I enjoyed every minute with them – including the people in this photo – my mom, sister and sisters-in-law.

Does anyone else love getting dressed up as much as I do? I’m so lucky that I have an excuse to glam up so often. If only it was as quick as this gif! 😂

My former student got married...

…and invited me to play for her wedding! Congratulations Claudia & Braden! Our mutual violin teacher, Alice Johnson, was there too! What a flashback and an incredible honor wrapped into one evening!
